Volunteer
We always have a need for volunteers due to the various events and fundraisers we hold. You can lend a helping hand to us in any of the ways mentioned below. These ways include meeting and reporting survivors of acid attacks and helping us organize events/fundraisers. No matter the size of the part you play, your contribution for this noble cause will be highly appreciated.
Meet and Report Survivors
We at Atijeevan Foundation want to reach each and every acid survivor in person, talk to them, hear their stories, buy medicines/ointments for their injuries, and gear them up to stand in society. But logistically, it’s not possible as they are located in different locations all over India. Additionally, they shy away from coming in front of anyone. We want to help them shed these inhibitions. We try to counsel them using various methods such as calling and zoom meetings, but that is not very effective. We need volunteers to come forward to meet these survivors who are in and around Bangalore, Delhi, Pune and across the country. Please get in touch with us and we will let you know the details of the survivors with whom you can plan a meeting, take some of their pictures and update us with their current medical condition.
Help Organize Events
You can assist us during the planning and organizing process of the events we organize for spreading awareness about acid attacks and raising funds to help victims. Unfortunately, we can’t afford the services of professional photographers and movie makers to cover our events, hence we would welcome interested people who pursue hobbies in photography, movie making, acting, and event management to volunteer for us and use their skill for a noble cause. Every year, we have several upcoming events for which you can come forward and help. Do your bit for the cause and earn valuable experience with certificates.
